Carlos Rojas

The Chef

Since 2003, Carlos has helped define the taste of Bald Head Island. His mastery of flavor and unwavering warmth have made him a trusted presence behind the kitchen doors of the island’s favorite spots, from Delphina Cantina and Jailhouse Provisions to Boat House Breakfast, Will O’ The Wisp, Midway Coffee, and Sandpiper Coffee.

Sean Ramm

The Point Person

Sean’s hospitality career has been shaped by more than 15 years of crafting some of Napa Valley’s most acclaimed specialty events, including Live In The Vineyard and Yountville Live. As both director of operations and creative director, he learned how to build experiences that feel effortless, meaningful, and unforgettable. After moving to Wilmington with his family in 2023, Sean brought that vision to Bald Head Island - reimagining The Boat House in 2024 and infusing it with the same sense of creativity, care, and elevated hospitality that defined his work in Napa.

Harper & Plunkett

The Visionaries

Harper and Plunkett first arrived on Bald Head Island in the early ’80s, when the shoreline was wild, the roads were sand, and possibility was everywhere. Over the past 44 years, they’ve imagined, built, and nurtured many of the island’s most beloved shops, restaurants, and experiences. Their deep love for this island, and for the people who give it life, has guided a lifelong journey of creativity, community building, and shaping the island’s unmistakable sense of place.
